This month we celebrate the joy of reading. Please take a few moments each day to have your child read to you. This is also a great way to fill your child's yellow reading log. If you have lost your child's reading log, please let me know so that I can provide a new one. Every student should be reading for twenty minutes a day. Research shows that by reading twenty minutes a day, students make huge growth with their reading abilities. Reading logs will be collected at the end of the year and any student who has filled five pages of his or her reading log, will be be rewarded with a reading party. Keep on reading!
This Wednesday is an early release day. The students will be dismissed at 1:50 pm. Monday is spring picture day. We have a Galaxy meeting this Wednesday so make sure that your student wears his or her galaxy shirt. Kindness Club will meet this Thursday from 3:45-4:45. Please remember to have your child wear athletic shoes on Monday and Thursday for Kinetics. Library books should be returned on Wednesday and are due back Thursday.
